1. Bandom fangirl/boy since:
September 2007. By the time WinCon rolled around in October, I was way more excited to hang out with the bandom girls than I was to hang out with the SPN people. >.>
2. First band in the fandom:
My Chemical Romance.
3. How, why, and when did you get into bandom? Was it a gradual thing, or did bandom basically slam you in the face? Did you resist at first? Who was involved in your downfall?
It was all floridapeaches' fault. ALL HER FAULT. She linked me to a My Chemical Romance video (The Ghost Of You) that just fucking slayed me, and I went from there. I embraced it wholeheartedly -- good music, amazing videos. My resistance came later, as I was all OMG NO PANIC AT THE DISCO AND FALL OUT BOY ARE BAD. Then I actually listened to their music and watched their videos and realized that really, they were just as awesome, and I've been in ever since.
4. What did your core bandom band look like when you got into the fandom? What fashion phase where they in?
My core bandom band(s) is(/are) not my first bandom band, so I'll do them both. As for My Chem, they were finishing up with the Black Parade, so lots of black and uniforms and skull makeup. Fall Out Boy was... the same as now, only Pete was wearing more makeup? And uh, Panic were... off in the Pornocabin growing beards, or maybe back in Vegas? I don't know.
5. What was your first impression of each of them?
MCR - OMFG BRILLIANT.
PATD - Cute, but boring. (... I know, I know.)
FOB - Laaaaaame. (AND NOW PETE WENTZ IS MY HERO.)
6. What was the first bandom fic you ever read? What did you think of it?
I... have no idea. Honestly, I have no clue.
7. When was your first bandom concert experience? What was it like?
The Really Really Ridiculous Good Looking Tour in February. Which was crazy but epically fun and I got to spend a lot of time with my best friend. Four shows in four days in four cities in two states. It was insane but also awesome.
