God, the facebook group "I don't need to have sex, Waterloo Fucks me everyday!" couldn't sound more true if it bent me sideways, rammed it's pompous academic scepter up my rectum and twisted for pleasure. All without the decency of lubrication.
It's fucking ridiculous. And this doesn't exclude the drama department. In fact, they are more the culprit than anyone!
I never wanted to come to Waterloo. I'm here solely to get away from the house. There were plenty of other schools I would have rather gone, but that's a different story.
I had planned everything to be able to graduate as soon as possible. I even took classes during the summer. It was all kosher. Until now ....
I know I was supposed to sign up for courses long ago, and I looked into, but an unfortunate set of circumstances prevented me from doing so, so I'm enrolling during open enrollment.
I've been doing a lot of thinking this summer and I've decided that I'm dropping Arts&Bus for good. No, should I? Shouldn't I? Shit ... it's done. Or soo it was SUPPOSED to happen.
That happening means that I have to take Drama 372. That's only offered second term. I was supposed to be graduated by second term!
ONE COURSE! One fucking course means that I can't graduate.
I JUST WANT TO GET OUT! I DON'T CARE! I DON'T WANT MY DEGREE!
I've worked enough jobs long enough to know that for what I want to do, I don't need a degree. Plenty that have come before me have shown this to be true. Fucking social standards. No Degree = no competence. How about No degree, or, heaven forbid, a three year degree instead of a 4 year? Are those just as valid options. No DUMBASS!
So now I HAVE to stay behind for the extra term .... for just ONE COURSE! I can't even go about my business and take it dist.ed. It's not available to be 'taken' that way. I have to endure sitting in a stuff classroom, in the - wait for it, I find it rather fitting with today's quote - asshole of the world, where the only sorts of activities available are playing fuck-a-mole, and count the asians!
À fa' moch'!
