As soon as the sun set, I was off to the Magic Box to get some supplies. I was getting a little worried about Xander - I hadn't seen him since he'd left a few days back. Okay, he was mad. I got that. But to just leave and not come back, or even let me know where he was ( Read more... )

"This customer of yours- has she removed anything from your body? Such as several liters of blood?" Wesley called out to the owner of the store in the back as he confidently stepped in. The heels of his boots made soft thumping noises as he stepped inside. He was wearing the black leather jacket and had a confident grin on his face.

Hearing nothing but the sound of a back door quickly opening and shutting Wesley sighed in relief. "Ah, yes. So many mystical artifacts." he said gazing around as he slowly continued stepping into the store towards Willow. "Nothing but the finest newt eyes. And what's this?" Wesley glanced over at something that apprently had significance to him. "A oroborus plate? My my, what are we cooking today?" he teased in a low deep voice as he walked inside.

He took out his Husqvarna Chainsaw and started it's engine with a smooth motion. It growled to life and a soft scent of gasoline filled the air. The chain slowly rotated around the edge of the blade. "Come out, come out, wherever you are." he said glancing left and right.

I watched him walk closer to me, revving the chainsaw. Unless he was planning to cut off my head, I wasn't sure what he was planning to do with it.
He had quite the reputation among us, this Watcher. He rarely left those he found alive. Well, rarely was a bit of an overstatement.
Still, I was no ordinary vampire. I hadn't come looking for trouble, but if he wanted to start something, I was going to finish it.

I stepped out from behind the shelf where I had been browsing. "You looking for me?"

"I was actually looking to make vampire body part surprise but you will do in a pinch." I replied. I kept the chainsaw over my head as I stalked towards her.

There were so many glass bottles and jars on the shelves- I would really have to be careful. Especially of the clublike two-footer fertility statues.

I glanced over her up and down. Yes, she definitely was a vampire. Tight black leather was so last year.

I smirked at him, giving him a good look-over. He was cute - too bad he wanted to kill me, or we could play some fun games. Apparently he even liked leather, judging by his jacket.
"And why would I want to let you make body part surprise of of me, hmm?" I sidled closer to him, looking as innocent and sweet as I could.

I returned the look. There was nothing in the rule book about not sleeping with the enemy, then again there were no rule books anymore.

"Perhaps because we could do it the easy way." I taunted as I stepped closer to her. I tried a sweet and innocent smile on my face but it merely appeared to be angry and wrathful.

"Easy way?" I looked up at him through my eyelashes, smiling sweetly and trying to ignore the pulsing vein in his neck.

I smiled and continued walking closer to her. She kept looking at my throat as if it were going out of style. "Let's not but tell everyone else we did."

I raised an eyebrow. "Does that mean you don't want to play?"

I smiled darkly. "Play yes- the way you were expecting- no." I brought a handful of white occlusion dust from my back pocket and threw the granules towards her eyes. "Flours?" I mocked her.

It was a good thing vampires didn't need to breathe - this stuff could've easily killed a human. However, it certainly didn't help my eyes. They started to water, and I had to close them despite that being one of the last things I wanted to do. If I couldn't see him, I didn't know what he was up to. He could kill me and I'd never even see him coming.

I moved quickly to where I'd last sseen him, striking out in my blindbness in hopes that I'd make contack with flesh. I wasn't that easy of prey.

I watched her move quickly to where I had been standing a few moments ago. I silently grinned. Vampires. So predictable.

I swung the chainsaw around in a powerful arc that crashed through dozens of glass bottles filled with newt eyes in a tinkling roaring sound that would terminate eventually by the chain slicing into her if she didn't move out of the way.

I heard the chainsaw hit glass to the left of me, and automatically ducked to the right. It's not like I'm going to stand there and let him slice me into bits, is it?

And here I thought I might be able to persuade him to be nice. Instead, I found some broken shards of glass and began throwing them toward the sound of the chainsaw, trying to open my eyes as I did. Good thing I have good aim nonetheless.

I ouched and yanked the blade away from me as I attempted to shield myself from the thrown bits of glass. "So you like to play with broken things, eh?" I commented.

The outer part of my hand began to bleed very slowly. I kicked out at her knee with the hard side of my boot.

I heard him move toward me, but wasn't fast enough to get out of the way entirely when he kicked out at me. I tried to run to see what kind of weapons I could find to use against him - since I couldn't get close enough to use my teeth while he had the chainsaw - but found myself barely able to walk because of the blow he'd dealt me.

There were glass jars and club like statues two feet high. The glass and water and newts eyes rolled around on the floor creating a wet sloshy... floor.

I confidently continued walking over the floor towards her. The chainsaw howled and I brought it over and against towards one of her arms.

I maanged to make it to the counter, on which happened to be lying a sword. I didn't know who had been stupid enough to leave it lying there, but I was grateful they did. Leaning against the counter for support, I grabbed the sword and held it out for protection, hoping it could help disable the chainsaw.
