We're Better Together

I don't know how many of you know this, but my a cappella group (Sex!appella, or Momo and the Coup, or whatever) is singing Better Together by Jack Johnson, and GUESS who has the solo? Um, well, after a wind up like that, the answer is kind of obvious...Anyway, I was with Page when they started to learn it, so they knew most of the background when I got back. Morgan had me just go on 2, so off I went with no introduction. After the first verse, Morgan stopped everything and asked, "Altos, why aren't you singing?" Their reply, to my surprise, was "Sorry, it's REALLY distracting how good he sounds..." Whiiiiich pretty much made my day. Then we sang it again today, all the way through, with me being sure on all the words. FIRST of all, DAMN it sounds awesome, even uncut and stuff...second, I don't remember how it came up, but someone said, "and the POINT of this is to get girls to want to have sex with Mac." Then Spencer said, "There will be NO problem there..." aaaand he's gay, so that made the statement all the more potent...I just kind of smiled awkwardly and thought of Page...Then LAter, when Morgan and I were playing ping-pong, a photographer came up to me and asked me to model for some of his shots! So, deSPITE work and stuff, it's been QUITE the week...

Except for the part where all I want to do is hold her...
