Well, it certainly has been an interesting few weeks. I had my second bridal shower the weekend after my first one. This one was completely different than the first, but just as fun. And the best part of all, there's barely anything left on our registeries. It's so exciting. We got the apartment on the 15th, and we got all of our bridal shower gifts cleaned and organized and everything. We did so much work. It was like, a week straight of incredibly hard work. I've never realized how tiring a move can be on a person. This past weekend Joshua moved into the apartment. So he'll be staying there from now on. It's really weird too, I go over to see him, and I don't go to his parents house anymore, I go to our apartment. It's just kind of weird, but really cool. I go to get food and I get to use OUR plates and OUR silverware and OUR glasses. It's really cool. I'll be staying there this weekend since he'll be up in Houghton for Rob's wedding. My Aunt and Uncle from Florida are coming in for Katie's graduation and they're going to be staying here. It's going to be a crowded house, so I'm going to crash over there. Not to mention I love Joshua's bed and I hardly ever get to sleep in it. So that's going to be exciting.
Wedding plans are going so well right now. Within the next few days I'll be starting to address invitations. And then Mom (Tenney) and I have to go to Gerald's Florist to start thinking about what I'm going to do about flowers. I really don't know what I'm going to do. I think I'll take Kate with me to help.
I feel bad that I can't go to Rob's wedding. Katie's graduation is obviously more important for me to be at, but I really like Emily. I wish I could be in two places at once. And I wish they would move down here in the near future, because I think it'd be fun to hang out with them.
Anyway, Joshua and I had our wedding counsling yesterday. It was so cool! The guy marrying us, Jerry Tallman, is amazing. His faith is so strong, and he knows exactly how to say things, I'm so glad he's going to be marrying us. He gave us a book that he wrote that I can't wait to start reading. They're really just bible lessons, but you can never get enough of that. And I'm getting excited about becoming rebaptized. :)
This is really scattered, but friendships are so tricky sometimes. I know I have some great friends, and I know they all mean well, but sometimes I don't understand how they do what they do. I don't like being lied to anymore then anyone else and it upsets me that people are okay doing it. And then they just pretend that nothing happened. That's not fair to anyone, but especially the person being lied to. It hurts and I hate watching it happen to people. No one, and I mean no one, ever deserves that.
Hmm. I'm getting bored, I think I'm going to go. I have to return some calligraphy pens to Michaels because the red one kind of blew up on me when I was testing it and I kind of need the red one since it matches my invitations. :P And I have to go back to the apartment because I forgot our church directory which sucks. I don't feel like driving out there just to get that. :( Maybe I'll just wait one more day. What's one more day?
Hey Murph - I decided to write because you had written. haha :P We should get together soon for some drinks. :)
