Disrespectful
I'm completely furious right now. Why are people so ignorant and hateful? I realize you may be thinking, but Sara, you don't even personally KNOW Heath Ledger. Why do you care so much? Well, I care because he's a human being-just like you & me! Because he has a family, friends, and a daughter who has to read/hear this shit (whether it be now or in years-you know it will still be around when she's old enough to research her daddy online!)!!! It makes me really mad. Here's the letter I sent to John Gibson about his HORRIBLE mocking of Heath Ledger's death. I'll include the email addresses of John Gibson, his show comment email, fox news network email, and the network CEO. Please email if you feel any bit of anger about this aired show. (http://thinkprogress.org/2008/01/23/gibson-mocks-ledger/) How dare you have such disrespect for a human being? You do not know anything about him or his personal life. No one does. You have NO RIGHT to mock someone's feelings or pain. You don't know what he has to deal with. No one has the right to put someone down like that after their death. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you learn something from this, but I imagine you won't because you are just that type of man it seems. Just because you are apart of the media does not give you the permission to cause others grief. You are supposed to INFORM people. You are NOT supposed to try and force your horrible opinions and feelings on people. Maybe you should check and double check your sources before saying things. Using TMZ.COM as your source? That's a GOSSIP site. Not a news site. I'm sure his family has heard of this and it is just such a pity that they had to hear such wretched things while trying to deal with such pain. Simply despicable.
