Having borrowed my brother's friend's copy of the PS2 YGO game Duelists of the Roses, I set out, as I always do, to beat the living daylights out of the game as fast as possible. Beating the daylights out of a game, or whatever other expression one wishes to use, means to not only beat the game, but to demolish it.
Well, I'm not quite there yet, but I've beaten all the duelists and won on both sides--first siding Yugi and barrelling through the Rose Crusaders toward my final confrontations with Seto and the Card Guardian guy, then siding with Seto and systematically slamming the skulls of Tea, Tristan, Mai, Mako, Joey, Shadi, Bakura, and Yugi into the ground before once more confronting the dreaded Card Guardian. (I personally like Seto's ending more than Yugi's). My only snag was that Pegasus Crawford kept using "Change of Heart" to wipe me out with my own monsters, until I finally wised up and started summoning my monsters where they didn't have immediate access to my Life Points.
Anyway, I have to admit that I cheated. I used passwords beforehand to get Crush Card, Change of Heart, Mimicat (Doppelganger), Swordstalker, Mirror Wall, and a number of other powerful cards that made dueling even Yugi and Seto a cakewalk. But hey, I still won. :)
