Your daily does of unfortounate comedy
do funny unfortounate things every happen to you that end up being a small event of your day? like a scene from everbody loves raymond or meet the parents? well ok meet the parents had some pretty serious unfortounate things but anyway...
so I was leaving my house to go to work yesterday and I grabbed a bottle of water as I left the house.Yay for me for sticking this game out. So I feel good about myself as I walk out the door drinking my water. Get in the car start driving down the street... then I turn out on 434 (Alafaya) and the cap from the water bottle shoots out of my hand and slides between my seat and the console between the front two seats... crap.... but wait I can still see it, maybe if I can just grab it....Oh yeah I'm still driving down 434, paying more attention to the road but determained to get this cap.. My hand isn't quite fitting in the gap but I know I'm close. Oh a red light sweet, so I stop and try a serious attempt to get this cap, switching to my other hand trying a weird angle.. but nothing is working till i just go back to how I was doing it before. I go back to that and this time can feel my finger spinning the edge of the cap, one finger gets around the outer edge of the cap and the other one starts to get around it, I think I've got it... Then the light changes and natural reaction was to start going I move up a little bit and the cap escapes my grasp and slides down more then before...dang. Now I'm stock with a fairly full bottle of water with no cap while I'm driving.. I mean drinking a beverage and driving is not that hard but when you can't set it down (my cup holders are way bigger then the bottle it would have fallen over) it does cause some issues. So then I had to drink it till it was at least halfway just so I could put it in my lap. ahh well, ok maybe its not really funny but after words I couldn't help but laugh at myself. I think somthing like this happens to me at least once a day.
