Continuing with the not-restful pre-Christmas days...
We washed the kitchen curtains today. Well, Louise (the washing machine) did it, but we still had work with them.
Then, finally, after two years, I've FINISHED THE CHRISTMAS-THEMED QUIET BOOK!
Erm, yes. Sorry for the shooting. But it's such a relief that I feel like a punctured balloon, I really do. I'll try to take a few new photos tomorrow, or perhaps a video (I've never made a video, so don't put your hopes too high), but until then, the individual pages can be found
here. They've been done quiet some time ago, all I had to do was to bind the book, which is always the hardest part. But it's done, done, DONE now, and my friend Elise will fetch it tomorrow, together with her share of cookies. If I consider that she had only three grandchildren when I started and has now five...
Not much else got done today, mostly because my fingertips hurt like hell after sewing through four layers of hard felt all morning and early afternoon. I improvised some lunch, put away the emptied cookie boxes and fell asleep over the crossword puzzle later in the afternoon. Some minor writing, just so that I can say that I have written something each day for the last two months, but that's all.
