Sorry, I don't know any expression in any other language that would describe my feeling quite like the above. *g*
Meaning that I've finally brought the pistachios in the Bioladen. It was a painful experience at the cash desk, but I simply can't wait for Aldi to bring their much cheaper (and, ironically, better) sort - if they even deign to do so this year. The Nikolaus Factory starts on Saturday, after all! I have nine recipients this year, not counting the neighbours on both side and the choir as a whole who all get their share each time, so I have to start working on earnest.
Mum and I did our weekly "Vienna tour" to the corner café in the morning. After that I was zigzagging all over the district for the whole morning, fetching this and buying that and came home dead on my feet. Not much else got done today - thank God for leftovers! - so I spent the afternoon with watching telly, writing a bit, chatting to my friends on the phone and generally trying to rest.
Tonight Vodafone is going to recalibrate the media boxes, between 2am and 5am. I wonder if we're gonna have telly in the morning or if I'll have to call their customer service (means an hour or so waiting in the queue) to lead me through the paces to bring everything back to the right order. Not the kind of surprise I'd be looking forward to. *sigh*
rants,
friends,
