More kitchen acrobatics

I started the day with baking muffins: peach and quark ones, in case anyone is interested. This was my first attempt to try out this recipe, and let me tell you: the things are terrific!

Then I made the two gate cards for the boys' birthday albums. They aren't very elaborate, but have a nice pattern, and I think the boys will like them.

Then I made the stuffed chicken legs for lunch - which we didn't eat after all but saved for Tuesday when I won't have much time and energy for cooking, either. Instead we ate leftover carrot soup and muffins. Yum.

Then I had to go through my music notes to find the ones we'll need on choir practice on Tuesday. Turns out, there are two I still have to print out. That's modern tech: we have a collection on Google Drive and can get the notes we are lacking for one reason or another. In exchange I realized I have three identical pieces of "O occhi manza mia", two of which I'll give away on Tuesday. I really need just the one. ;))

Then we started packing for tomorrow, to make all the dirt connectible for our cleaning lady, as tomorrow will be cleaning time again.

Digestion is still acting up - it has been more than a week by now. I'm getting tired of it, really. But in our family it was to be expected. *sigh*
