here we go
Alrighty, I'm back from Paris. I guess you'll be wanting me to tell you about my trip. How shall I organize this, I think by topic
- Food/Dining: Interesting... Breakfast consisted of CRUNCH cereal or oatmeal and a banana, so I was usually very hungry by lunch. Lunch consisted of either the French take on pizza, gyros (tortilla wrap with roast beef, lettuce, french fries and some sort of "secret sauce"), a hot dog/fries sandwich, and Fanta, a French orange soda, which I brought back with me so others can enjoy it with me. I did not order escargot for dinnner, but I've had it before in Mr. Braly's biology class. It was tasty. We also went into cafes just to have some drinks, and because of this the cafe charges an obscene amount so they can make a profit when people sit down in their store for 5 hours with just drinks...says my brother. We had Chinese twice, that was delicious, French restaurant a couple times, and a Tex Mex place where I had a burrito. Service...wow. The Chinese restaurant and this little back street restaurant had the best service, the other restaurants were not very attentive, and the SMOKE WAS SOOO GROSS! ARGH. i hate smoke. We actually had to leave a couple of restaurants before we were served, which was frustrating. It was also difficult talking in French, fortunately my brother was decent at it.
However, my mother is being weird about me being on the computer, so I will update this specific entry from time to time with different aspects. Can't wait to see you guys again!
