Got up, ate out (sucked), went to National Treasure 2 (awesome), went out to eat again with same family friends from last time (sucked), came home to clean up after my dog (expected).
I have to tell you guys i was expecting the usual previews before NT2, but (besides a Narnia 2 one) WE GOT A 2-D ANIMATED GOOFY SHORT LIKE THE GOOD OLD DAYS! It was fricken new too, not a recycled one. I'm surprised my smile didn't rip my face in two.
Without giving spoilers, National Treasure: Book Of Secrets is pretty damn good. I say this because it is exactly the same, and isn't that what we want? The same characters we love and conspiracies we snort at but go along with anyway. I didn't walk out into the sunlight feeling like i wasted my life, which is what usually happens with me after a movie. I dare say it was a bit better than the first. I'm thinking more action and better pacing. Here's to hoping there's a third and they adhere to the same formula!
Oh, i also caught the last hour or so of 40 Year Old Virgin on tv. I lol'd. Mostly at the out-of-left-field end scene. Also noticed a soundtrack i must torrent obtain.
I had a mildly sore throat all day.
Mom: "I'LL POUR PEROXIDE INTO YOUR EAR!"
Me: "wut?"
Mom: [pour]
Me: "ARGHWTFCOLDANDFIZZY!"
Two hours later, my sore throat remains and my ear now hurts. WTF free clinic remedy is this??
