What an odd feeling
So, like, i'm officially off my meds and i haven't felt this good in years. Don't get me wrong--I did need meds those first few years, and Zoloft (the only one that worked for me before i got too sensitive to it) was a life-saver, but after that i think the long line of meds i've been on did me more harm than good. Go fig.
Before i can be accepted into the Phlebotomy class--and the Medical Lab Assistant class i've decided to take with it--i have to fill out the application, take a placement (TABE) test and apply for funding. I did the last two yesterday morning. The English sections of the test? Psh! Dude, i was in English Honors before i dropped out. Five minutes, tops. The Math sections? ...*sobs* OMG yo, i don't remember this shit! My brain forgot how to calculate the area of a triangle the second i realized i'd never need that in life. Figures it'd be one of the questions. Another one of the questions? Calculating the speed of light. It's not like i'm applying to be an astro-physicist here. I just want to stick people with needles and draw their sweet, sweet blood. If i pass the test, i'll let you know by fainting.
