It's been real busy lately. [ new feathers with ballistic trauma, teenagers with shattered wrists, ailing housemates and battle simulation failure can keep a man occupied. he can't help but be frustrated with his lack of progress in contacting Nala and it shows in his voice. ] I haven't had a chance to sit down and feel the zen or whatever the hell those new-age people call it.

That might also help when you do have the opportunity to again... she might realize that you do need her, because of how busy you are at the medical center.
