[It's a fairly windy day, but with the warm weather lately, it's more welcome than stale air. The past few weeks have been very busy for the healer-- observing the new feather cycle, schoolwork, assisting with Legato's surgery, capturing Mithos, looking after Derek--among other assorted events, leaving her less time for herself.
Not that she minded; being busy was what kept her focused, after all--and even on a day off from school, there were still things to do--the aforementioned checking up on certain persons, tending to the gardens, and spending some time at the flower shop and library, which were all reasonable areas for her to be approached in.
Eventually she settles into some magic practice in a clearing not too far from the house: some experiments with elemental combinations, as well as testing the limits of her own natural capabilities. The exercise takes a lot of concentration, so even with a heightened awareness she may take an extra moment before acknowledging onlookers.]
