[Albert has made the short walk away from the house to the stable. It's perhaps his second or third time out of the house since the mushi incident. He stands inside the fence, brushing Astrid's mane quietly. He might be discussing Usagi's plans for Chibi-Usa's birthday.]
[That jog too a little longer than expected for various reasons, but eventually Raine makes her way back to the area. As she's on the wooded path, her trek takes her around house 50 before she emerges back onto the main path between it and the community building, though she pauses to take the last few sips of her canteen.]
[As he's some distance away from the road, Albert doesn't notice Raine. Astrid, on the other hand, does; the horse flicks her ears and watches, almost confused by what Raine is doing.]
[It doesn't take very long for Raine to finish the rest of her water. She's walking the rest of the way now that she's closer to the house. Since she's already outside, she decides to check on Astrid at the stable.
... And there's Albert. She blinks a little; she supposes that she shouldn't be too surprised.] ... I didn't expect to see you out here.
[Albert raises his head when he hears the voice, looking over at Raine somewhat distantly. He walks closer to the fence, Astrid trailing after him.] It isn't too far from the house. [It's ... well, some form of explanation.]
[Raine makes her way over to the fence, frowning faintly at Albert's response. She's a little tired from the exercise, but at least had been dressed appropriately for it.] ... No, I suppose it isn't. Besides, I know she's missed your company.
It's been a ... few weeks. [Was that how long it had been? He can't remember the last time he had gone for a ride.] But uneventful, apparently. [He touches Astrid's neck. Things had apparently been boring for the horse.]
[She nods when he mentions the length of time.] That's right... about two, now.
There have been a few incidents that I hope are being attended to by the defense groups, in any case... but I suppose that's as quiet as it gets, these days.
Most of the village's incidents have been largely internal, rather than external. The rate of people disappearing has also seemed to be a steady trickle.

Perhaps even quieter than usual? No experiments, no New Feathers for awhile...

I suppose I can put it off for a bit, unless you can come in for a few minutes.
