[Derek's about to head off into the forest for his daily, er, 'spiritual communion', but he'll pause when he notices Raine pass by. he isn't into the trees yet, so he may be easy to spot. If she looks his way, he'll give a nod and a greeting smile.]

[Despite being distracted, she's doing her best to pay attention to her surroundings. That includes noticing Derek's greeting, so she'll slow down and eventually stop when she's close enough. She needs a sip of that water anyway.]
