[Action]

[Now that there won't be any more school for a while, Gelda's decided to pay a visit to the library and pick up some reading material. While she's out, though, she decided to stop at the plaza and enjoy the sight of the fountain for a bit. When Raine exits the store, Gelda looks up and smiles.]

Good afternoon, Raine.

[It's a bit of a balancing act. It might have been better if she had brought Astrid along with her. But nonetheless, she can still hold it comfortably enough to greet her fellow teacher.]

Ah, good afternoon, Gelda. How are things?

They're just fine, really. Though, I should be asking you the same thing.

[What with Raine's absence from the school and the lack of details as to why, it's only natural for her to be worried. It's good to see Raine out and about, but knowing her, she may still not have recovered from whatever kept her busy this week.]

[She's actually so distracted that it takes her a moment to even register what Gelda is referring to.]

They're... well enough. I suppose we're going to have to get used to having a little more time on our hands. Did they decide to have the party, after all?

[Ah, a topic change. Whether it was intentional or not, Gelda will respect that.]

Yes, they did. I must say, it was quite the spectacle.

Considering who was involved, that's not surprising. I'm glad they were able to enjoy themselves.

I'm certain everyone who was present had fun. We should consider organizing another event like that some time.

You think so? I'm afraid I don't really have any ideas... unless it was some form of culture related fair, perhaps, but even that would take time.

That isn't such a bad suggestion, actually. The students can set up booths with traditional games or food from their own worlds to gain some extra credit.

It would also give a few of them firsthand experience with trying something new, instead of just hearing about it in class.

Indeed. This is definitely an idea we need to keep in mind.

You must admit, it's ironic how we get hit by sudden inspiration just when the holidays have started.

I suppose once our minds are freed from the day to day aspects, it lets other ideas filter through.

Then, it may be for the best if we carry notebooks with us. We'll be able to record every idea the moment we're struck with it.

[She's kidding, of course.]

That could very well be counter productive. In any case, we seem to have better ideas while discussing them like this.
