Ugh. I grow weary of this illness. I hope that by the end of the week it would have passed completely. If we're all lucky. At least it's only a cold, and not some ridiculous disease. Unle No.
There is more than enough to catch up on -- at least the blindness has worn off. From whatever that was. I should not have been such a liability during that experiment. There is so much that I have to do. At least being able to work on these notes in the meantime is something. Honestly, I'll have to speak to Mark about this as well. Running back into burning buildings for this is ridiculous -- you have to have copies made. It's extra work but it serves it's purpose.
We should be only thankful that after every experiment, the Malnosso have a convenient reset button to press, restoring houses to their usual states, as if the experiment itself has never been. Though, if this were the case, shouldn't it be the same for everything? The penalties -- those hardly seem to be reversed, save for that one time we were fooled into believing we had a chance to make some gains.
We can only hope that we make some progress, where the community is concerned. Granted, the amount of problems we face only seem to be on the rise. If we don't find a way to deal with the smaller ones, what use will that be in the face of these experiments that only serve to turn people against one another? Let alone these other situations that we've simply left to the wind.
The death toll during that last experiment... ridiculous. If I hadn't been ill, there might have been something I could have done. But there's no time for worrying about things like that. Though the question stands, what can be done for it now?

All right.
Something needs to be done about Kadaj. He has already proven to be too slippery, and he's extremely dodgy on the subject of how he got the means to poison people. There are three so far, by my count, unless others are hiding it.
Considering the many ... factions we have available, it probably would be wise to put them to some use. Though we'd lack a place to keep him even if he were to be apprehended.
He will likely be making attempts to infect more people once things get too quiet. Or take advantage of the current situation.
I have been wondering whether my healing artes -- perhaps aided by someone else of similar ability -- might be enough to at least provide a temporary stop to the growths, or somehow neutralize it. I've been working through several theories, though it's a complicated process. I need a better way to analyze exactly what it is that's going on. Any progress that we can get on that would be appreciated as well.

Well then.
I know that it's probably been forgotten in light of current events, though before all of the recent experiments came upon us, we were planning on having the school reopened. I refer you back to my
original notes on the matter. We are including teaching how to use Filial Magic as well, which is more than enough reason for some of you to pay attention. However, that doesn't mean you get to ignore the other classes.
There are still quite a few of you who haven't yet come in for testing; though the way it seems we may have to split some classes up, due to availability, ability, among other things, though we really do need to hear back from you regarding this. We will be having testing from now until Saturday; and before next Monday schedules will be posted.
While I may not be present for all the days to personally give the exams due to ... certain developments, there are a number of people available to do so, so do not worry. Again, I refer you to Professor Gelda, Miss Carol, and Miss Yoko, among many others.
Thank you for your time.
