It's a shame winter doesn't last longer. I would like to see more snow, don't you think, mom?

[Merem and Ciel are taking a walk in the park, enjoying the warm weather like a normal family. Keywords there on normal. Unfortunately, there's an interloper here in the form of Arcueid, the Princess of the True Ancestors.]

IDIOT NUN!!

Cut for gore and drone violence )

oh hi ciel, gotta me sum blood, action, arcueid is my wife

IF ANYONE WANTED TO SAY ANYTHING TO ARC DIRECTLY, here's the thread for it. makemebreakfast June 15 2011, 04:16:28 UTC
[Though she looks pretty frustrated with the current situation...but it's simply two monsters standing around a corpse at this point.]

I thought you were her friend, Arcueid. Why did you allow that odious little creature to do this to her?

It's just Ciel.

It's not like she can be killed outside of Mayfield, either...at least not that easily.

What do you mean?

She's hard to kill.

I expected a fight and got disappointed. The drone is nothing but a shell, a ghost, an image without the person. It doesn't matter.

That I can attest to. She fought me evenly at full capacity, and managed to give as good as she got. We were both nursing broken bones for a while.

[He stares at the beheaded corpse.]

Still, her form, her vessel should be treated with more dignity than -that-. Even we Legiones Astartes burn both our fallen foes and brothers.

It's not her form, it'll be her form when she's back in it.

I doubt she would even care. The worst of it would be a lecture about doing that in public for the both of us...well, it would be if she weren't an idiot.

I doubt she'll say a word to me.

I cannot understand any of this.

[He looks away.]

You must be from a pretty weird world.

[Arcueid seems to suddenly realize something.]

You said you fought with her, and it was even with you?

Yes. [He blinks.]

Is that strange?

Yea, kind of.

She must have been holding back.

Only as much as I was. Were either of us to go further than we did we would have killed one another.

[Did Arc just sting his pride as a warrior a bit? Possibly. But he's also pretty sure she doesn't understand just how tough an Adeptus Astartes is.]

Trust me, she was holding back.

Considering how much you seem to value her I hope she never has cause to go at you for real.

She could not break my armor.

And I had a hard time striking her, but we both managed to eventually hurt each other pretty badly.

[He just looks phlegmatic and thoughtful now, apparently concentrating on something other than her sprawled, headless corpse.]

I value her a great deal.

[He frowns.] I wonder if that is strange.

I could demonstrate, but it's going to require you realizing that I'm not going to try to hurt you if you let me do it.
