It's a shame winter doesn't last longer. I would like to see more snow, don't you think, mom?

[Merem and Ciel are taking a walk in the park, enjoying the warm weather like a normal family. Keywords there on normal. Unfortunately, there's an interloper here in the form of Arcueid, the Princess of the True Ancestors.]

IDIOT NUN!!

Cut for gore and drone violence )

[Arcueid seems to notice, but she's not saying anything...just keeping an eye on the woman.]

[Acrueid may also notice the ridiculous aura emanating along with the disapproval.]

What exactly is going on?

I expected a fight, I ended up finding a drone.

That's about it.

The drones do not always stay at such so harming them is the same as harming a proper life. I will not comment on wishing for a fight, but how did it come to this?

Merem is Merem. He eats humans, it's really simple.

It's a drone anyway, it's only human in biology.

Eating humans is fine, being overly destructive about it is not. Disregarding the life of the drones also is not. These actions are all Black.

You're pretty preachy...it's really boring.

I've killed a whole lot of people, most of them related to me, because I was supposed to. So what's that make me then?

I am a judge, it is within my nature. [Though she didn't really like being called preachy.]

If you were suppose to than that is acceptable.

But it's still killing, right? I mean, I killed a lot of them...I think. It was pretty fun, and I think it was all to protect the world but it's still murder.

It's okay as long as it's convenient? [Oh yea, she's in a bad mood, so she's being a HUGE bitch right now.]

No, but the reason is not at fault and there is more balance involved. The effect of the action is measured against the action itself. In the case of doing what is suppose to be done and the well being that action causes good deeds can be in more abundance than sins and the verdict would be a more positive one. Hardly a ruling deserving of Heaven but perhaps a ruling that involves reincarnation of some sort. It is the difference between allowing reincarnation and damning straight to Hell, or even a lesser sentence in Hell.

[Arcueid looks pretty confused by that information.]

I'm not sure I know what you just said...but it still sounds pretty convenient to me.

Hardly, it is a very involved process. Judgement needs to be fair and consider all aspects of a persons life and the effects of their actions on others. Though one may do various sinful acts if their acts bring greater good it must be noted, it also must be noted on how they carry themselves while doing those acts. If the results are an accident resulting from a maniac who isn't considering their actions in anyway then those good aspects are not counted as highly as those who understood their situation.

That sounds really dumb, and still really preachy.

You shouldn't force your views on other people, you know.

It's how the system works, it's the same for all who die. I'm not forcing anything I simply uphold the balance of the system.

Or does the system work that way because you force it on everyone else?
