Miss Yuki, will you go to the prom with me? I think it'll be a rather interesting experience but that might just be my opinion. [Oh whoops, was that for everyone to hear. Merem doesn't care and he doubts Yuki cares either.]As for the rest of you, I really hope to see you there. I'm pretty sure Ciel will be playing as a chaperone so if you're ( Read more... )

Oh, so you fancy Nagato-san? Though I suppose that this isn't too surprising, given that she's rather special and outside of the norm, too. Have you thought about what to wear yet?

She isn't human so she gets my normal treatment. [whatever the fuck that is]

I've had ideas on my clothes but nothing permanent.

Hmm... Would you treat a man-made android with artificial AI the same way?

Your "ideas" are probably better left unheard. ...Well, maybe except the color scheme; that's hard to screw up on. Would the usual white, gold, and black be okay?

If it was intelligent, I would, yes.

My ideas are proper. And that is generally what I wear.

Fair enough.

Deciding on formal wear requires imagination. I know your sizes by heart already, so I'll make yours myself. You weren't thinking of getting something from the stores here, or have it tailored by someone else in town, were you?

[He slides over beside Ciel.]

I was planning to ask Sakura. She needs something to keep her occupied.

Oh? That's okay, then. I can help her or she can help me; the order doesn't matter. Are you sure that she's a good seamstress, though? There's no questioning her cooking abilities, but I never had a chance to see her sew or ask her about it.

I honestly could care less on her level of skill. Her getting sick wasn't a coincidence, Ciel. She just needs a focus.

[Sipping her mug of tea while giving him a knowing glance.] And this is precisely why I would never let you choose by yourself. Did you also know that chores like cooking and sewing can easily become a mechanical process? A person's hand moves, but with enough repetition, their minds are still free to wander elsewhere. I'm surprised to hear that you actually care enough to act, but that doesn't change the fact that your idea of a focus is a very weak one. I also refuse to let you walk out of this house without looking at your best, so give up. Human empathy isn't your field.

I wouldn't let Sakura's mind wander. Who do you think you're talking to, Ciel? Besides, as far as I'm concerned, Sakura isn't human. I don't need human empathy to read her.

By causing her a different set of grievances than the ones she currently suffers? I think not. Why don't you go convince Tohsaka-san to attend instead? I'll suggest to her that we make dresses for both herself and her sister. That should keep her busier.

...Ah. That explains why you're treating her differently. Regardless of what she really is, her own wish is to live as an ordinary human. Any of your meddling would just be bad influence. So why are you interested in her? If you're looking for her buttons just so that you can push them, I'll kill you.

I've already convinced Rin. Her date will be the Rat King. [(troll)]

You're not going to kill me in your current state. Even then, you would make things harder on Sakura.

Oh, then I'll make sure that there'll be plenty of pizza by the refreshment tables. [(troll)]

So you are planning to make things even harder for her, are you confirming?

I'm neither confirming nor denying. You're simply jumping to conclusions based on some idea you have stuck in your head.

No, I wouldn't have bothered asking if I already have.
