"Why would I complain about carrying a fair maiden like her knight in shining armor?"
Zelos has always been a pain in the neck. Of course, he also was a part of their team and Raine always knew how to tune out his habits, to his chagrin. That said, he's a useful pain in the neck, and Raine has often requested that he help tutor students in mathematics. For all of his complaining, she knows that deep down he does care for people, though it took quite a while for him to earn her trust. They also have similarities in having younger siblings to look out for, so she understands his overprotective side when it comes to that.
