Marriage License
Well, today was the day!! We went to the courthouse and picked out our marriage license. We didn't actually pick it out, we just filled out a form, paid the lady $54.00 (cash, because they don't accept checks, debit or credit cards), showed our drivers license, smiled really pretty and then kissed. Whoops sorry, those last two are for the wedding.
There was a sign that we could have a ceremony for $5.00 in the courthouse and I tried to convince Jill that was a bargain that we shouldn't pass up. But she talked me out of it. She truly is my better half.
We are almost official and time is ticking by. Only a few more days until we are Mr and Mrs John M and Jill B. Hill.
