Ever have one of those days where you feel like you should be living a musical? Yesterday Ryan and Amelia had to watch "Oklahoma!" for a class, so I joined them along with Fulvio and Kristy while doing homework. Last night my mind was on overdrive for some reason so I stayed up puttering around until 3AM, getting up again for class around 8:30. Theoretically I should've been tired. Instead, I found myself humming "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning" from the show. The entire walk to class I wanted to sing, whistling boistrously and humming snatches of it when there weren't too many people around. And class itself was good, I got into a nice discussion with the prof on how the Constitution can't be seen as a neutral, objective document because it promotes values of its own. From there I got lunch and headed off to work. I've been listening to musicals and John Williams the entire time. Somehow I want to walk outside and have the street burst into song. The feeling is infectious.
