I got my femslash08 assignment! *spins* I know what I want to write, I think! (and I have FIVE OPTIONS!) Now to go see about (re)absorbing the source.
Meanwhile, if you have been assigned to write for me, here are some things I like:
+PWP. Kink as appropriate to the characters. Fisting. Genderfrell. Cross-dressing. Empty, meaningless but totally hot one-night stands. Long-term relationships. Best friends become lovers. Sleepover parties. Party games. Costume parties. Hurt/comfort where one character is mildly ill and her lover makes her chicken soup. Crossgen pairings. Teacher/student kink. Creative storytelling. Stories about artists. Stories about families. We Just Don't Talk About It. Highly structured stories (e.g. a set of ten drabbles, or based around a theme). Interesting formats (e.g. letters, diary entries, grocery lists). Stories that mimic the linguistic and emotional tone of canon.
I kind of think my Buffyverse (no comics canon please!), Grey's, and Ugly Betty requests speak for themselves. There are lots of pairings I like, also, genderqueer characters are awesome. By Joyce/any I really mean any. If you want to write incest, that's okay; if you want to write cross-gen, that's okay, if you want to write her with someone closer to her age, that's okay; if you want to write another pairing I listed, that's okay too. Obvs.
In HP, yeah, McGonagall/Hermione is my OTP. Per the rules, no NC-17 while underage. That said, anything you wanted to write would be okay with me. Long and plotty would be awesome, PWP would be awesome. Explicit teacher/student would be awesome, but it's fine if that's not your bag and you'd rather they were older. EWE is fine; epilogue-compliant is fine.
Peanuts: Mmm, yeah. I read a shippy arc and I decided I needed fic. Any way you think you could swing Peppermint Patty/Marcie would be terrific. (PS note the genderqueerness of "sir"!)
Notes on a Scandal: What I love about this canon, in two words, is JUDI DENCH. And Barbara Covett as played by her. Seriously, any. Sheba, Jennifer, the woman from the end of the film, an original character, a crossover character from any fandom we happen to share. Obviously canon suggests that such a character would be significantly younger than Barbara is, but if you wanted to write like, backstory where she's involved with a schoolfriend, or frontstory where she finally meets someone closer to her age, that would be okay too. Mostly just BARBARA. Why isn't she real.
Things I do not want so much: Character death, noncon (dubcon is fine), mutilation, scat/watersports, background Draco, background Spike, random transphobia, random homophobia (if you deal with them, that's different; throw-away lines are not funny, do not want).
