ficlet: "A Literary Diversion" (Sheppard/Weir)

Aug 02, 2005 19:45

a. I apologize for today's spamming with shortfics. At least I'm writing something, eh? And oooh, slightly longer-ish Wes/Angel fic is due tomorrow, so! Will post that... tomorrow, quite possibly.

b. I have committed flirting!fluff. Sheppard/Weir. I blame the usual suspects. Post-"Before I Sleep," no S2 spoilers as I still haven't seen any of it!. ( Read more... )

*heart stops*

*restarts it*

OMFG! YOU WROTE SPARKY FLUFF! With references to how confusing and random and arbitrary Russian lit is! And and and omg. EEEEE! You have no idea how happy this makes me. (Okay, well, you might, by all the exclamation points and bouncing and eeeeeeeees.)

Sparky from you is GOLD! It is rare! And Russian! And! ! ! *loves and babbles Russian compliments at you!*

*squees* *is glad you liked!* 'Twas intented to be dysfunctional for you mentioned wanting of dysfunctionality, but it turned out mostly fluffy. Which is, yanno, not a bad thing, generally. :p (Also, got not-the-nicest feedback for "Impulse Control," so felt urge to write more of the pairing Just For The Hell Of It and to make myself feel better)

BUT! Yay! *is glad your heart is beating again* *and that you liked fic!*

*snug*

OMG. IMPULSE CONTROL. I reread that periodically, because it also is by you and has Russian and Sparky and guh. JOY JOY JOY. Someone didn't like it?

... recently? But you posted it so long ago! Who the heck sends belated flames!?

Is this sequel-ish to Impulse Control? I just wonder because of the War and Peace and because of her odd reaction to him when he walks onto the balcony... lalala... *wants more, like always*

even if he's still at sea when it comes to Russian novels and the inside of Elizabeth's head, which, now that he thinks about it, aren't too different from each other.

What a great comparison. :-)

You write the best stories. I love how you write different pairings. I think it so much more fun to explore lots of relationships in a show then just to stick to one and I really like how your different stories do that. (I don't know if that is your intent or not, but it makes it fun to read).

Thank you! You're sweet.

That's awesome! And it's totally my intention. McKay/Weir is my 'Lantis OTP, but I don't even have one SG-1 OTP anymore, and I totally enjoy exploring different sets of character interactions. It's far more fun than sticking to one. (Also, if I wrote just one pairing, I'd write essentially the same story over and over again...)
