But oh, the middle was so wonderfully creepy. I actually gasped when Fred started to talk like Illyria. The thought that Fred is keeping her memories bound and making herself live like that is so heartbreaking, and so like Fred.
This is just incredible. I really adore it. Thank you so much for writing it!

I'm so glad that Illyria coming out worked so well! That kind of feedback is quite good for the soul. :)
Yay! Glad you liked!

Also, I wanted to make sure that you still want to participate in this round of femslash_minis. After the stuff with your family, I absolutely understand if you want to sit this round out. Just let me know, sweetie.

Second, I've posted a small excerpt from your (extremely overdue) BSC story here. Just to show you that it's coming.

I *love* the line "like tiny streaks of blue lightening have unburied themselves."

In reference to what we were discussing last night, when I was writing this, I thought that Wesley performed or had hired someone to perform a spell similar to the one at the end of S4 AtS, so that Fred was given an entirely new life, like Connor's, and this was that life, but at some point it occurred to me that perhaps the reason she got the future had something to do with Illyria's longevity, though I still do blame Wesley somewhat for having the two of them locked in the same body. (And clearly, need to better work out the backstory of what's going on in my own stories.)

I was confused about what had happened to Fred-Illyria to bring them to this point in time with messed up memories [obviously, Illyria=immortal, but why the weird memories], but a Connor-esque spell makes a lot of sense.
