PK Wars squee + C'ville
Well, back from Charlottesville. Have been for awhile, but felt compelled to take a nap, go to dinner, and play on the internet for awhile before updating LJ.
C'ville was a mixed bag. Going to the mall was Scape-tastic, and having a mental orgasm from the ownership of the best four hours of TV I've ever seen was, well, yay. SO SHINY. (Tho' the front of the DVD confuses me. J/A are pictured together, but then D'Argo is next to Scorpy, while Braca is next to Chi. Buh? They mixed up the OTPs.
And the summary on the back is so inaccurate as to be laughable.
But on the inside, where it matters, there is sheer artwork. Brilliance. OMG so good. And John and Aeryn look so hot, yes they do. *fans self*
Anyhow, so that was good. Then we watched the Japanese version of The Grudge, which was pretty much like the American version, only without the charms of SMG. I slept through half of it.
The worst part was the forced proximity to other people for most of an evening, which was starting to make me a very, very cranky Ari, but then I got to sleep alone, in a room all by myself in a lovely, comfortable big bed, and that was excellent. A full twelve hours of alone-time. Yay sleep!
I have to do homework tonight, and do something relating to senior thesis so I'll have something to share with the department tomorrow night. Plus, OMG, other thesis. Spaz. No. Bad Ari. No spazzing. Be cool. Work hard tonight and then reward yourself with shiny, shiny miniseries. Yes! Excellent idea. Except cannot watch entire miniseries tonight. Brain would explode.
All right, so on the whole, C'ville was a bit too much with the human contact, and with the contact with humans who, well... okay, I'm not going to talk about it here. *sigh*
Really, really need to get ready for tutoring now. If anyone comes in, I'll slap them with a fish.
