Scorpius hissed a response.
Braca bared his back, allowing Scorpius to press a hot branding iron into his shoulder.
It hurt like nothing he'd ever known.
The brand--an arcane symbol from Scorpius's Scarran past--was hidden by the uniform he always wore. Medical examinations should have revealed its presence. Somehow, the med techs always overlooked it.
Commander now of his own command carrier, he allowed his fingers to wander to his shoulder, caressing the brand.
Braca's master was coming home.
3. The pretty English teacher agreed to serve on my honors thesis committee. One down, four to go. Frell.
4. Sox game tomorrow night! Miniseries + girlfriend on Sunday! Then Angel and... eee!
