Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this past year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

More. Waywayway more. This is my first year in fandom and up until about June, I was like, "I will never ever ever write fanfic. I just can't do it." And then... yes.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2003?
Well, I never would have predicted any of it, but I think the onslaught of Sam/Daniel midyear and Chocolate Walnut Cookies certainly threw me for a loop.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.

Something Sacred. Because it's the first time I managed to combine my own style with canon characters.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?

Well, let's see. I wrote hetsmut for the first time, I wrote het, I wrote slash, I wrote NC-17, I wrote bondage, I tried my hand at plot-y stuff, didn't work very well... I learned that plotting is still my weak point and that writing smut well is still a lot harder than it looks.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

Nope. Goals only cause me stress. Likewise, I'm not making any resolutions, except to be less stressed out and to have the best summer of my life.

And to watch Buffy at some point.
