For
vass, parts of the Bible that are especially amusing or entertaining.
1. Because I was a morbid child, I found the book of Judges, which is full of death and gore, entertaining at an early age. My favorite story in Judges is
Jael slaying Sisera. 2. Genesis is also enormously soap-operaly entertaining, with gobs of sex and incest (and less gore than Judges). One of my favorite stories from Genesis is
Tamar and Judah.
3. And out came this calf! is the greatest excuse in the history of excuses.
4. My favorite person in scripture is probably Paul. I love him in a srs bsns conversation partner kind of way, but I also love how awesomepants cranky he can be. One of my favorite Paul moments:
Paul's First Parochial Report.
5.
Indeed these are not drunk as you suppose, for it is only 9 o'clock in the morning! Disciples gonna disciple. And speaking of,
We saw someone casting out demons in your name, so we stopped them. DISCIPLES! And thus was "facepalm" invented.
