Tall Ships 2005
Tall Ships are back on the Tyne again, so I had a wander along on the first day. I stayed up till 4-5am this morning hoping to get some nice dawn colours as a backdrop, but it's been cloudy since the off (yay three hours sleep). So I headed out later, to see my sister who's working on a stall there for her company (I may be joining her on Wednesday, if I take the day off). I took a few photos on my way back to the flat, of the ships...:

...and finally, of Newcastle Gateshead's new 'QuayLink' buses, electric powered hybrid diesel-electric powered and ultra low emission, and during the Tall Ships event, free to ride. (However, they aren't offering their full service, due to the amount of pedestrians along one section of Newcastle Quayside, and closure of certain roads):
Apologies for some of the crazy tinting, I played around with metering my own white balance as red, blue, etc etc.
