varying forms of flight
Last night on the way home
shaken from the darkness into the bright shine of my headlights
a silvery russet tipped fox darts into the ditch and with a flicker of a bushy tail vanishes
This morning on my initial departure
on wings stretched to catch the chill early breeze a hawk dips into my view from above,
catches an updraft and ascends into the blue
Life is all around and damn its beautiful.
**total side note, i had to double back on the way out of my subdivision this morning. (ya sweet home disturbia) i had picked up the Seraph's Ipod by mistake, grrr. Sorry his 496 song selection just wasn't going to cut it. so no bad but tasty Whole food's breakfast for me this morning. grumble..grumble
Ok seriously tho, if that is all i have to bitch about today, i am totally blessed.
so i am stoked for tonight and nervous
i hope all goes well and much fun is had.
