Cake or Death?

So.....yeah. Wednesday was Daniel Kitson day, which was fun. I had an early shift at work so I finished at 4 and went to meet Dean and Morgan at the Black Horse next to the theatre for drinks. But yeah, Mr Kitson was fantastic. Everyone should go see him. He got tangled up in his cardigan, and spoke a lot about aids and budgies, amongst other things.

Yesterday, to forget a certain person's birthday, I went to York. It takes less than an hour to get there on the train (including changing at Leeds), and is cheap. And York is pretty! I did lots of shopping, bought delicious fudge, looked at the minister (outside only, not paying to get in), walked around the city wall, went to the art gallery (where there was a wax model of St. Christopher, who I half expected to open his eyes, he was that realistic)....and then came home and watched Doctor Who (which was ace, I liked Martha, and the Judoon)! All in all, a Good Day.

I like Easter. I get a nice long weekend! No work on Friday, and none on Monday. I am working the whole weekend after, but I get the 20th off, for the purposes of a long weekend in Sheffield, saying bye to Mary-Ann before she goes to Japan (*super jealous*).

I'm also going to a Jeffrey Brown signing in Leeds, and the Doctor Who exhibition at the Manchester Museum of Science and Technology, both in May. And I'm going to the MCM Expo in London at the end of May. May is a month of nerdness. I'm looking forward to it lots.

I need to sort out my Battle Royale school uniform for the expo. Sophie and I are dressing up as BR kids. It's gonna be aces fun. *goes to watch BR again for the 50 millionth time*
