I just voted (and put my head on my scanner, it's a lil' tricky)... I bolted out of the office 2 minutes before 5... And I do say, wow, what a nice little difference those minutes can make with traffic... Drove up to the United Christian Church and some lady holding a Jack Stick sign waved too me, but just on the other side of the driveway was a guy with a Mark Strama sign also waving (for state rep). I gave a huge smile and waved to the dude holding the Strama sign... Then another 20 feet there were more people with signs, some I had no clue for, but another guy with a Strama sign so I waved and gave a goofy smile. I went in and there were two lines, A-M, N-Z. There was 2 people in front of me. The first guy got his code to vote, then there was a black lady who had to go talk to someone else for some reason I couldn't hear. I tried, but the poll lady talked softly. My turn, she opened the book, found my name after about 60 seconds, I signed and initialed and got myself a code for the e-voting booth. That was an interesting little interface... Jog dials? Okay, cool... I voted. From entering the parking lot to leaving must have been a whole of 6-7 minutes, but it was like 5:10, peeps just getting off work... I waved again and threw a peace sign to one of the Strama sign holders.
Now... We wait.
