look for my name in an upcoming W magazine
i got a call from a customer who ordered a couple of rolex watches from us in the past. he introduced himself, and said he writes for the magazine "W" (which i've never looked it). He asked if I could help him with some questions... I smiled and said, "Sure, I'd love to help." I answered a ton questions about watches in general, the collector's market, overhyped watches, etc... After 15 minutes or so, I get an AIM IM from the boss, "Who are you talking to?" The kind of info I was sharing wasn't super private or anything, but it was more info than we give to any customers. The questions seemed to have run out after 20 minutes and he asked for my full name so he could quote me. I told him, then promptly asked, "Will you include our website address?" to which he responded, "Oh yeah, we'll give you a great plug".
