It is a curious thing as to why one would start a journal of this sort. One in which your personal thoughts, feelings and actions are read by whoever might happen upon them. One feels a sense of privacy because they are writing it at their whim and in the confines of their own little world. One forgets that this is open for the entire technologically advance society (basically anyone who can obtain access to a computer) to read and respond to. So one would tend to think that perhaps the writer would want to keep a certain amount of anonymity, like references to people (such as specific names). I know that this is a place to openly express oneself but at the cost of whose feelings? The traditional journal is one of secrecy and privacy that no one reads but oneself, and has no one to answer to. My point is, why would you want to publicly condemn a friend? Eventually you will have to answer for your thoughts and feelings, in this, a live and interactive journal. SO my question is: "Would you or would you not censure yourself to some degree, if you knew someday you'd have to answer to it? Put yourself in another persons place... What if you were the one being talked about? How would you feel?"
