(no subject)
Some few interesting things have happened today.
First of all, I almost nearly broke my Heirlooms at work today, slipping on oil from a pan which my own clumsy self knocked over. It wasn't pleasant.
But then I came home and oh so many things started picking up. While sitting in the recliner, half asleep, watching Pump up the Volume, Tabbatha (really hot sweetie I mention a lot) called me up, invited me to her brother's wedding reception. It was pretty entertaining.
Oddly enough, Tabbatha caught the bouquet, and I caught the garter. Of course, her mother looked dead at me and said "Don't think about it! She's got College to finish!"
I really didn't have the heart to tell her poor mother (who is a very nice lady) that Tabbatha and I aren't actually dating, and will likely never get closer than friends with benefits.
Also, I should mention, this is the THIRD garter I've caught, and I'm not married yet. Heh.
It gets better though. A good friend of mine from many years back drove up in his new car. This new (used) car was a 1987 Chevrolet Corvette convertible in a nice bright Ticket Me red.
So of COURSE I asked him to let me drive it. And he let me, and I know this seems so pathetic, but I got to drive a Corvette! It was FUCKING COOL! Also, he let Tabbatha ride along as well, as it was her first time in a Corvette.
Not to mention, driving along, with my hair in the wind... damn that was fun. Should also mention, I look DAMN good driving a 'Vette. Something about it just... yeah. It was fun.
So, got back to the park, hung out some more with Tabbatha, kissed on her a while, talked a while, it was really fun.
