OMFG, or something like it.
I did it. It only took me too many years to gather what I needed to do it, but regardless, I did it.
I got my tattoo.
Yes indeed Ladies and Gents, I got myself inked. It's the 7 principles of Bushido, running down my spine. It's about 7.5 inches tall or so. Would have been bigger, but I got faulty information about pricing, so... had to do some negotiation work. Regardless, I was steeling myself for a pain that wasn't as great as I imagined it would be. Oh, it hurt, especially since the 8 Kanjii (Meyo is a double Kanjii word) were done directly over my spine, which is rather high on the list of painful places to put art.
It was just the thing I needed too, to help me rise over this funk Melissa put me in. Incidentally, I pissed her off when I didn't invite her to come with when the ink got stuck. Gee, maybe cause she broke up with me? Makes sense to me.
But, the deed is done. Stay tuned to see pics of it (and my hairy Yetimonkey back as well).
