Spiderman was so full of good lines.
And the character development and growth was excellent. You see how people get to where they are. You see that they are real people. You see them grow into what we think of.
I would like to inform you that my first newspaper editor had imprinted on J Jonah Jameson. "Crap. Crap. Megacrap!" Yeah, that's what I got, too. Only it wasn't just my photos, it was the articles I wrote, too.
This is what I knew going in:
Spiderman had been in an accident with some kind of spider and radiation, which gave him the leaping and strength.
He designed some web shooters, which took cartridges.
He had an Aunt May.
That was about it. You can imagine what a revelation this was for me.
It was a really good movie. And also a great date.
Silmarian and I had invited other people, but no one made it. So we got to just hang out and talk to each other. A date with each other. What a fun thing. We talked about his weekend now that he was alert. We talked about job stuff for him. We talked about our love lives. He made me laugh. We flirted with each other. I sashayed over to retrieve him a straw. With hips.
He has an interview today up at Carmike. Yay! Evidently, they let a manager go just yesterday, so we have our fingers crossed. It will complicate transportation, but working in a theater will probably not eat his soul like the office job.
I went to bed at midnight, because I was a tired puppy, and because I expect to be up a bit late tonight. He stayed up later because he was wresting with email. I think I talked to him when he came to bed, but I'm not sure.
Tonight, birthday celebration with Glyph. Yay! I'm really looking forward to both proposed parts of the evening.
And now, off to work.
