Christmas prep. AAAAA!
But my parents took the kids last night, so sil and I got to do Christmas shopping together, which we really enjoy. My mother, strangely, was problematic this year.
Today, I went down to the extended family shindig, and Eldest Cousin made omlettes. Ah, the passing of the torch. And my children were self-sufficiently entertaining.
Evidently, last night ,thery got to see an amatuer production of The Velveteen Rabbit. Yay, my parents. On the drive home tonight, the kids and I talked a little bit about how the velveteen rabbit is like Toy Story 2.
My mom and dad were so curious about their presents from Amazon that they brought said unopened boxes along with them, and also wrap, so that I could open the boxes and wrap them so that mom and dad could "shake" them and put them under the tree. (don't worry, fairoriana, all is well with all your packages)
The kids picked out sil's presents. It was contentious, but interesting.
Tomorrow is the Christmas Pageant, and some wrapping, and some crafting, and some baking. Whee!
