Baz takes skating lessons on Wednesdays. Sadly, one of the best skaters at the rink, a nationals-level skater, just had a fit of 12-year-oldness and quit. Baz wrote her this letter:
I Love You.
Your a Good
skater. i miss you. have a Good
time at your moms
house. PS Do you have a email?
Love: [baz]
to: cidney
DUDE. It's an awesome letter. He wrote it all himself, and only asked for help spelling Cidney.
Eventually, he will learn all sorts of things. He will learn about always capitalizing the I and the different your/'re variations. He will learn a/an. And he will learn that we don't start all our letters with "I Love You." Nor should we, I suppose. But sometimes one of the hard parts of being a parent is seeing where my kid doesn't have a callous yet.
I Love You.
