Click below to see the haircut I flew to Minneapolis for! I feel like a changed woman. This morning, I put PRODUCT in my hair before work. I am thinking of investing in a hair-flattener-thing (obviously, this transformation is not instant).
Which is pretty funny, considering that my stylist explained how I could blow dry my hair like this, and I confessed that the only hair dryer I own lives with the window plastic.
Anyway. Chic!
Before, at Borealis
Is there a better backdrop than yarn? I think not.
Back at Borealis
This is a pretty accurate representation of the back of my hair.
Half a dog
That's the base of a barber's chair back there. This was the result of the initial cut -- a pile of hair inches high.
Rachel in action
This is Rachel. She was very happy with getting to do this. Here she is straightening my hair. I fear I need one of these devices.
Back, after
Spikey! And really, really short.
Ta-da!
I have a reverse mullet. Sure, it's still business up front, party in the back, but that means different things for girls.
I love it. I feel chic. And punky. And not even a touch suburban.
Addendum: You can't tell, but there are also purple extensions in the long bits. And today I am wearing my blue suede jacket, and my hot pink shell, and a black skirt, and black-and-hot-pink stripy knee-socks. And black boots. I am made of win.
