I could give you a day-by-day rundown of my vacation, but that seems tedious, so instead, you'll get the highlights grouped by theme.
The answer to the burning question is: 3 dozen round cookies to each batch of gingerbread. Which meant that my 4 batches were sufficient to the family cookie exchange. In return, we got a few varieties of chocolate chip, some caramels, some buckeyes (yum -- sadly, I forgot to bring them home. I love buckeyes), some horrible mint things that I gave to
resolute, and most perplexingly, some holiday-shaped pretzels sandwiched together with a partially melted hershey's kiss. Ick.
We didn't bring many cookies home. Instead, we left them for LT and toadnae's New Year's Party. Because mediocre chocolate chip cookies are not worth shipping.
