Good:
When I got home, there was a lovely fire burning in our fireplace. It continued to tick along all evening.
The kids helped me pick up the living room. Once Baz understands that he has to balance the vacuum correctly, we will be set.
We watched the first part of Flubber, the kids and I.
LT and I knit together while watching Dinner Impossible. I have about 4 inches of Baz's sweater knit.
Ng:
It was the Robin Williams version of Flubber.
I screwed up in a tiny and yet fundamental way on the sweater. One quarter of the sweater has ribbing in the wrong order. Bilateral symetry is important to this pattern. Really, really important. And the error exists in the very first row and has propogated all the way up. I am currently going through the stages of grief. I've gotten through denial and anger and bargaining, so acceptance should be up pretty quickly here. Annnnny time now. The sweater is sitting at home. I expect I'll pull it out tonight or tomorrow. Uh, it's a hell of a swatch? Sil thinks it's pretty. Wah. Maybe I will start a service, where I pull out people's projects and rewind the yarn for them, because it's pretty heartbreaking to have to do it for yourself.
This morning, traffic sucked, so I amused myself by finding a plastic bag and throwing away and sorting all the trash I could reach. Note to self: check to make sure that the "crumbs" you are scraping out of the seat aren't, in fact, safety glass.
