Knitting content

Well, after a minor... problem, Sherwood is going well. I only read the first few squares of the chart, and thought it started in 2x2 rib. But no, not really. So I knit 12 rows and had to rip it out. So I restarted it, lalalala. I knit a couple too many rounds while on a playdate on Saturday. I've started doing the actual cably bits, and I think it's safe to say this pattern will not bore me. It doesn't look as pretty as some people's on Ravelry, but I am trying to imagine that cabling, like ribbing, looks best after a few inches. At least I am making good speed, I think.

I managed to get registered for the classes I want at Madrona (yay!), but LT didn't, due to stupidity on the part of the site (deep dark boo). I don't know how one could do this better, but I'm pretty sure it would involve 1) Opening when you say you will, neither before nor after, 2) Having sufficient server capacity. And there is far more demand for classes than openings. Also, the recourse to problems should be more than a (full) voicemail box.
