So it's been what...a month? 2 months? 3? since I last updated this thing? Probably has since I'm too lazy to put my day's events here. Lots has been going on so I guess I should find a place to start.
First we'll start with...the 4th? Bad place since nothing happened there. Lit fireworks, saw fireworks, and that's about it. The day after was a lot more fun. I went to Desi's house (Desi Hoffman) and hung out with her, her sister Dani, and their friends. We played games like Pictionary and Catch Phrase and there were so many funny things that came out of that that it would take me forever to explain them. Some of the more memorable ones were probably when I drew my baby picture..which I guess looked like a really small bug. Then there was Desi's word pad..which she drew some interesting pictures that led to things being shouted out like "SEX, INTERCOURSE" and then I had the word "nut" and was told to go the sick, but easiest way...so I drew this guy and pointed to arrows at the area and I guess I can't draw arrows so everyone was wondering what kind of growth or disease this guy had. Then Melissa, who was on my team, decided that every word she got she'd come up with this story she had in her head and put in on paper. So she had the action word "free" and of all things she drew the Holocaust and this guy being shot at.
Today I hung out with the usuals...Steph, Nick, Seth, and Koree. We went to the park and played Catch Phrase, which Nick seemed to think jumping up and down and dancing flambouyantly would help Koree get the word he was describing. Steph and I dominated like no other. Then I went to the doc to get my stitches taken out, which I was late for by like 20 minutes, but the whole process took like 5 seconds. Then I came home, started watching 50 First Dates when the same peoples showed up at my house with ice cream for me, bribing me to hang out. So I did. We played more games and threw fire crackers out of the car window. Spooked some people, and I laughed.
Something I discovered today that really bugs me: People who are opposite of optimistic. I'm not sure what the exact word for it is...but I don't like when people are like that. Such as being discovered in South Dakota to get a scholarship for a sport. I mean sure it's SD and we live in the middle of nowhere, but still! You work hard, you get really good, you get noticed. You make sacrifices with money and time to get where you need to be to get drafted. If you're good, you'll get picked. Sheesh.
Oh, and if you were an upperclassman and you liked a lower classman...would you go out with them? Kind of a dumb question, but would it matter? I think I worded that wrong. Maybe would you go out with someone younger than you? No, I don't like someone younger than me, just a question. It might have some meaning..to certain people, but just wondering. It's good to know if anyone would feel uncomfortable with such a situation.
I think that is all for this loooong update.
Person everyone should hang out with just because she's that fun to be around: Desi
