As a result of hanging out with mllelaurel for a while last night with a stack of comics...we has a convert! She can has new fandom.
I think I can has new OTP.
Have been spending too much money on comics recently. Grabbed a fair stack of Civil War, and the first volume of the essential Avengers...OMG THE SIXTIES CRACK IT BOTH BURNS AND WINS. Never before have I seen such an awesome display of naked power!
(That would be Namor, referring to Thor. Really, those two going at it is just inherently cracktastic--they're both such windbags. But not as cracktastic as Thor carrying Loki around stuck magnetically to his hammer. WTF? WHY IS LOKI MAGNETIC?)
(And why is that moment, as Steve is just calming down from waking up, when he brushes his fingers over Iron Man's faceplate and says Who are you? not on this list?)
